This session is part 1 of the full day beginner WordPress track.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll set each person up with your very own WordPress site. We\u2019ll install a plugin and you\u2019ll have a brand-new site to play with the rest of the day. (We don\u2019t want you messing up your own live site!)<\/p>\n
Then we\u2019ll use a panel to go over general terminology: What is core, page vs. post, category vs tag, plugins, widgets, hosting, maintenance, etc. Many of these topics have more in-depth sessions later in the day.\u00a0 So we\u2019re setting up the background here.
