Here\u2019s the story about who we think should come:<\/p>\n
Somebody built you a WordPress site and then left you in the lurch to fend for yourself. Maybe they told you how to add content, use headings, and add images. But you forgot pretty quickly. And then you started hearing about this \u201cGutenberg thing.\u201d In the five sessions today, we\u2019ll get you in place to make the most progress in your mission to love WordPress.<\/p>\n
Gottfried Benn said, \u201cWhoever wants to understand much must play much.\u201d So you\u2019ll get the most bang for your buck by bringing your WIFI enabled laptop. No other connection is required. Each participant will get a clean installation of WordPress to play with. (We don\u2019t want anybody messing up a live site!) YOU\u2019ll step thru all the basic stuff in the order in which you use it.<\/p>\n
Over the course of the day we\u2019ll cover general terminology, what\u2019s in the admin sidebar, the customizer, settings and tools, the new Gutenberg editing screen, media management (that\u2019s images and other files), and plugins and widgets.<\/p>\n
