This talk will recap a nearly 5-year process of how the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences migrated 75-plus academic departments, programs, centers, and institutes’ websites from various platforms into just two WordPress multisite environments. I’ll highlight the processes, workflows, plugins, and some non-WordPress tools we utilize to ensure this migration didn’t end up like past migrations; and also keep our sanity as we move forward. I’ll discuss the next big step of any migration: website audits. By presenting our findings, session attendees can learn from our mistakes and accomplishments while sharing their own experiences.
