Andy Stratton

Drew Poland

Drew Poland is a freelance WordPress developer hailing from Baltimore, MD but known to move around a bit and enjoy the freelance lifestyle. Drew is co-organizer of both WordCamp Baltimore and The Baltimore WordPress Meetup.

Zane Matthew

Zane M. Kolnik is a Baltimore, Maryland based Developer. He received a B.S., in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He has 8 years of experience ranging from client side and server side languages, DevOps, UI/UX and server administration. In early 2014, he founded Zane Matthew, Inc., which specializes in custom web solutions, including WordPress theme and plugin development.

Leah Vogely

Leah Vogely has worked as the art director, project manager and marketing guru for a large variety of websites, marketing campaigns and branding initiatives. WordPress is often her weapon of choice for many of her projects. Her industry experience includes educational institutions, non-profit organizations and enterprise companies. Leah attended the Maryland Institute College of Art and currently holds the position of Creative Manager at Mindgrub Technologies in Locust Point.

Elizabeth Eadie

Elizabeth Eadie is the Creative Director of the Democratic National Committee and a design consultant based in Washington, D.C. In 2010, she built a WordPress site to help her land a job interview. That job didn’t work out, but everything else did. She’s been working with small businesses, startups, and non-profits ever since.

Joseph Herbrandson

I have been focused on WordPress websites and specializing in security ever since my first freelance customer came to me with a security incident, and a hacked website. Now I work for Sucuri.net, an industry leader in website security and malware detection, removal, and prevention. I help customers everyday (many of them WordPress users) that have been hacked or infected, and work on remediating their security issue to implement a solution to prevent any further infection.

Christopher Lee

Christopher has always had a gift for the written word, and finds joy in using words that “work.” When he isn’t devising strategies for online marketing campaigns, you’ll find Christopher crafting killer content for clients. His interests include metaphysics, literature, music, film, and cuisine. (Chris has declared rice – in any form – his absolute favorite food.) Christopher studied Psychology and Writing at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and likes to combine his knowledge and expertise to craft effective pieces. He became a part of Groove: Creative Marketing, Design & Development in January 2014 as an SEO Content Writer, where he currently works and refines his craft.

Arsham Mirshah

Arsham Mirshah is a co-founder and Technical Director of Marketing at WebMechanix. Arsham has been on the cutting-edge of marketing technology and developing WordPress websites for more than 7 years.

His specialties include technical strategy, web analytics, A/B & multivariate testing, infrastructure, systems design & development, and high-level technical project management. These skills have been an integral part in each of his company’s digital marketing campaigns, as demonstrating ROI with concrete data continues growing in importance.

Arsham graduated from the University of Maryland with dual degrees in computational biology & computer science.

Jayvie Canono

Jayvie is a front-end developer and designer living in Baltimore, Maryland. He’s been working with WordPress since its earliest days. He has held a few WordCamp talks with a focus on the overlap of design and development for the web. In his free time, he goes for long walks and spends way too much time at the gym.

Anthony D Paul

By day, I’m a user experience researcher, designer, and prototyper at EightShapes. By night, you’ll find me spread across the DC and Baltimore meetup scenes—notably at events for UX, accessibility, and a variety of open source development projects. I’ve lived and worked in the DC/Baltimore corridor for nearly a decade, offering strategic, design, and full-stack development skills to clients large and small, spanning government, non-profit, and commercial. I’d tell you about my cool side projects, or divulge something funny from my past, but these days the Internet of things does a better job of curating our embarrassing moments; find me anywhere by Googling “anthonydpaul”.

Joe Casabona

Joe Casabona is a web developer, author, and teacher who focuses primarily on WordPress and mobile development. His latest book, Responsive Design with WordPress is out now. Taylor Lovett

Taylor is the Director of Engineering at 10up. Having been involved
with WordPress since 2007, he has contributed to core, authored
popular plugins, spoken at many conferences in the United States and
Canada, and most recently been a part of the WP API team. He is a
lover of all things open-source. Other than developing web
applications, Taylor is a lover of music. He enjoys listening to blues
and jazz music as well as playing acoustic fingerstyle guitar.

Rami Abraham

Rami Abraham is a developer at Maintainn, and provides support for the plugin AffiliateWP. He’s a co-organizer of WordCamp Lancaster. He likes tacos and legos, and also other things.

Dylan Barlett

Dylan Barlett is a consultant at Versivo, where he designs, builds, and maintains high-availability systems for private and public-sector clients. He has been a WordPress user since 2010 and recently migrated Arlington County’s public website to WordPress on AWS. He is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect and SysOps Administrator.

Chris Lema

Chris Lema has been working with WordPress for 9 years. His daily blog (chrislema.com) covers the WordPress ecosystem from a business perspective.

His coaching and consulting helps theme and plugin companies with product development and strategy. He’ll soon be the Chief Strategy and Chief Technology Officer for Crowd Favorite.

Brad Williams

Brad is the co-founder and CEO of WebDevStudios.com, a co-host on the DradCast podcast, and the co-author of Professional WordPress (1E & 2E) and Professional WordPress Plugin Development.
